Bentwood rings with waterproof coating

Here is a series of wood rings made to order in different woods. All with waterproof and scratch resistant coating. They are made in bentwood style with 0.2 mm thin wood stripes. The stripes are rolled onto intself in your ring size, then the ring is stabilized and coated with a clear and strong acrylic based finish to amplify the natural color of the wood and maximize its strength. Available in all sizes.

Available in widths between 3-10 mm. Please add the width you want to the notes while ordering.

By the nature of wood and wood veneers, each stripe & ring displays a different grain and a slightly different colour combination/variation. This means your ring is unique to you. When I made them the first time, it surprised me a lot to see how strong they turned out, compared to the rings cut out from a single block of wood. Hope this strength allows it to accompany you a very long time. If you need anything with your ring in the future, I am going to be here to help.

Once you place your order, I begin to prepare the ring in your size. Please note that the dispatch time for your ring is currently around 2 weeks. If you want to have your ring sooner, please send me a message, I’ll do my best to make sure it does happen.

SIZING

Please note that because of the nature of wood rings, re-sizing is not possible. Thus it is important that you provide me a certain one. If you don’t know your ring size, I strongly recommend visiting a jeweler to learn it. There are DIY techniques to size it at home but they usually don’t provide certain results. Please take into consideration that your fingers can get a little bit bigger in hot weather and a little bit smaller in cold. Also note that as the ring gets wider, the size needs to be bigger for the same finger. So if you are planning to order an 8mm ring, please make sure that the jeweler you visit has 8mm wide sizings. Please refer to the size chart at the last photo for reference and read shop policies before ordering.

CARE

All wood rings requare care while wearing. Even though they are coated with a strong finish, frequent contact with soaps and chemicals might dissolve the coating in time and might expose the wood underneath. Make sure to remove your ring while doing hand work like gardening, climbing and so on. Also keep away from sharp objects while wearing. You can wash it with warm water every once in a while and clean with a soft cloth. This will make sure your ring keeps its shine and strength for a long time.
